About this quiz
This is the all-round geography quiz: ten rounds that switch between flags, capitals, country shapes, official languages and currencies, so you never know what comes next. It is the best place to start if you are new to GlobeQuizz, and the best test of how much you really know about the world’s 195 countries.
Every round gives you four options and twenty-five seconds. Correct answers score 100 points, fast ones up to 50 more, and a run of correct answers adds a streak bonus. Stuck? The Compass hint removes two wrong options once per game, at a cost of 40 points. Prefer no clock? Switch on Relaxed for no timer and no speed bonus. Finish with enough points and you earn up to three stars.
Use the region picker to focus on a continent or on the Arab World, the Gulf or the Maghreb, and switch to Hard mode for neighbours, look-alike flags and similar names. A fact card after each answer shows the country’s name in Arabic and English, so you learn both as you play.
